Engagement Night

It feels good to be back here and I've got tons of stories to share.
My last published post was in 2017 and there were just so much that happened since.

Why am I here now? Simply because I just want to. LOL.

It seems that I need to pick up where I left off so the first thing that I would like to share with you is my
engagement night.

The Engagement Ring

9th of February 2020, on my birthday, my was then boyfriend for almost 2 years proposed to me. His name is Edmar.

On that day, we spent the whole day in our home with my family. Since it was my birthday, my relatives came to celebrate with me. It was a fun day indeed!

In late afternoon, Edmar and I left the house because he reserved a table at Scott's in Ascott BGC for dinner so we can celebrate my birthday alone or at least I thought this was going to be the case.

When we got there, we sat in our seats and then after a few minutes, he left for the bathroom!

While I was scanning through the menu, one of the hotel staff went up to me handing a letter. I was so confused. I opened the letter.

"
To my honey...

It is your birthday today! I am so very lucky that I am the one that gets to celebrate with you. I want to make this night very special for us. So I found a perfect place for us to dine and celebrate!

The hotel staff will lead you to the place. I love you very much honey.

Happy birthday!
"

So I followed the staff.. He led me to one of their banquets. He asked me to stand in front of a curtain and I was surprised when someone opened the curtains. But I was more surprised when I saw who opened the curtains. It was my best friend, Yani!

I went in, and saw a path of candles and rose petals on the ground leading me to the front. Then I knew, Edmar was going to propose!

It was a bit dark. I cannot see the faces of the people in the room. I recognized some of them. My closest friends.

Yani, gave me a letter and I read it out loud.

"I love you very much my honey. This is all for you. Please look at the screen"

I looked at the screen and then a video of our memories together played with Edmar's voice in the background. I felt my tears.

When the video ended, I turned back and saw Edmar with flowers in his hands walking towards me.

He handed me the flowers and then got down in one knee and asked me to marry him.

Of course, I said YES! It was like a fairy tale!

The lights turned on and I was able to see everyone. My family and Edmar's mom were there too! My heart was so happy!

We all sat down in one big table and had a good time. It was the most memorable and happiest birthday I had so far..

Here's the video of the proposal! Enjoy watching!

The End.

Secret Wedding up next...
